Flash sintering of complex shapes

چکیده

Flash (ultra-rapid) sintering of powder materials is a Multiphysics phenomenon which has potential for the quasi-instantaneous fabrication various components. However, intrinsic instability flash makes it difficult to apply complex shapes and large specimens. Here, we circumvent this problem by use an interface-controlled approach impose stable very fast heating samples become fully dense in matter seconds. The simulation demonstrated that electric-thermal-mechanical confinement specimen allows efficient (and selective) with homogeneous microstructure substantial reduction grain growth. Our results indicate ultra-rapid shape possible.
